IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATIONS


We do not ship to PO Boxes. We ship with UPS and USPS. UPS delivers Monday-Friday. USPS delivers Monday-Saturday

Please note:  UPS does not deliver shipments  and we do not ship during the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

When your order is shipped out you will be sent a tracking number to track your package. Unless otherwise indicated, the courier will not ask for the recipient’s signature and package will be left at the shipping address provided. We ship with frozen gel packs to prevent spoilage during summer.

Since our products are perishable items, we recommend selecting one of the following UPS options: Overnight or 2 Day Air. An overnight service should be selected for frozen meat products; Any selection other than a UPS Overnight service is at the customers own risk.   If you select, it is at your own risk and we will not be held responsible if the items perish. Ground shipping is not recommended for perishable items (especially in the summer months) unless shipping is to: WI, MN, IL, IA, OH, MI. It is still at the customer’s own risk. If you wish your order delivered and/or shipped on a specific date, please indicate this at checkout. If we are unable to meet your requirement, we will notify you via email.

 

SHIPPING COST


During the summer, products are shipped in insulated refrigeration packages, in order to prevent spoilage of perishable items.

The shipping costs are calculated based on package weight and shipping address zip code. The price of the packaging materials may be added to the total shipping cost.

 

SHIPPING SCHEDULE


Due to the perishable nature of our products we avoid shipping them later in the week to prevent the package from spending the weekend in a warehouse.

We ship all orders that require 3 days transit time on Monday and Tuesday. We ship 2 Day Air orders on Monday-Wednesday. We ship overnight packages Monday-Thursday. Once an order is received, it may take from 1-5 business days before it ships. Allow an additional 1-5 business day during the holidays We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability..

We can attach a card with a personalized  message or wish to your package.

 

DISCLAMERS


TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE GOODS

We ship goods that are sensitive to higher temperature. Therefore it is important that someone is present when UPS delivers a package. We are not responsible for the package after the first unsuccessful delivery attempt. You will have a tracking number and will be able to estimate the arrival date. We ship our products with ice gel packs, which will preserve them for up to 48 hours (depending on weather conditions), after which they are subject to unfavorable conditions, especially during the summer months. UPS makes deliveries to some states within 1-2 business days, which makes this option acceptable. In any other states, please select Next Day Air delivery or 2-Day option to receive the products in their original condition.  Sometimes we will adjust the shipping dates of our products  in order to avoid weekends. Although this may delay the arrival of your order, we are doing it to protect your order

 

CORRECT ADDRESS.


We guarantee delivery to the address you listed at checkout. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address, we do not assume liability if you do not receive the package. If the package is delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer, and if the goods have spoiled due to warm weather, then they can’t be reshipped

 

OUT OF STOCK


If a product(s) in your order is not available at the time it is being picked and packed we will either:

  1. Omit the product(s), ship the rest of the order and issue a refund.
  2. Replace the product(s) with a similar one(s).

 

DAMAGED GOODS


In case you receive a different, defective or damaged product, or if something is missing in your shipment, please notify Georgesbrandmeats.com within 48 hours of receiving the shipment, so we can take the appropriate measures, namely issuing a refund or reship the package.

 

RETURNS


Returns are not accepted after 5 days from the date the order is received. You cannot return items that you do not like in taste or package shape. Items that have been opened can not be returned. Return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility. Shipping and handling charges are NOT refundable. Returns may be subject to a 5-20 percent restocking fee.

We do not reship orders that are returned to us by the carrier due to it being undeliverable and do not ship to a different address other than the shipping address associated with an order. If an order is returned to us due to it being undeliverable by the carrier for any reason, and the product is not spoiled and not damaged, a refund will be issued  for the returned item(s); shipping charges are not refundable and the items returned may be subject to a 5-20 percent restocking fee. NOTE: We need to have the return physically delivered  to us for any of the above to take place.
